Meeting with the UK Aviation Minister

Robert Courts and Nadeem Sultan

Nadeem Sultan, CargoLogicAir CEO

Recently I had the opportunity to virtually meet with the UK Aviation Minister, Robert Courts MP. I was able to share the ambitions CargoLogicAir has for future growth, but also, the challenges faced in the aviation landscape, in light of regulatory changes post Brexit.

I was encouraged by the Minister’s enthusiasm and support for the sector, especially in terms of understanding the value of cargo in connecting UK exporters and importers to their key markets. I also welcomed the Minister’s comments of appreciation, for CargoLogicAir, and our teams for our contribution in the movement of key cargo in the fight against the Global Pandemic.

The Minister and I discussed the importance of direct freighter services to and from the UK’s top trading partners, which in turn, is key to ensure efficient and cost effective access for UK business. I was able to be frank about our current issues including the points we believe Government could focus on, especially to ensure the UK can become a major air cargo hub, one positioned to connect continents around the world.
